MTEC reaches its TWO year anniversary!

It has been a very busy two years for the training center. We have educated hundreds of students in Oilheat, Propane Gas and Air Conditioning. The ever popular 200 Hour Oil Burner Class is the backbone of our educational offerings. We have successfully prepared 20 classes of students to enter the Oilheat field. The Propane Hands on course which is the only one offered in Maine is becoming more popular each time we complete a session. We have prepared 8 classes of students in Propane. The Air Conditioning course is offered as an add on to either of the Oil or Propane courses and it has prepared 5 classes of students.
Looking ahead we plan to offer an 8 week combined Oil and Propane course to utilize the information taught in the oil class to give students a jump start in their propane training. The theories of Combustion, Electricity, Controls and System operation are very similar and we can streamline the learning experience. While meeting the requirements for state licensing.
